What’s On

Saturday 14th July is the start of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge.   This year’s theme is ‘Mischief Makers’ celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the much-loved comic, the Beano.

It’s easy to take part. Children can sign up in the library from 14 July. The library will be making a scarecrow for the Henley Scarecrow festival so come and join the fun!

Children will receive a Mischief Makers collector poster when they sign up to the Reading Challenge. They borrow and read at least six books during the summer collecting stickers and incentives along the way.  They will receive a certificate and medal when they complete the challenge.
