Citizens Advice Bureau Clinics continue in the Library two Wednesdays a month

CABThe Henley Community Library and the Citizens’ Advice Bureau are continuing to offer the Bureau’s services in Henley.  An outreach worker will be at Henley Library on alternate Wednesday mornings to help with issues such as benefits, jobs, housing, hunger and heating.

Upcoming dates for spring 2014 are:

          • Febuary 12th
          • Febuary 26th
          • 5th March
          • 26th March

Make an appointment by calling Citizens’ Advice at 01789 200 136 between 10 and 4 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, or between 1 and 6 pm on Thursdays.  If a trip to Henley is difficult, call the Library office 792 941 to arrange a lift. To protect people’s privacy, on CAB Wednesdays we are open only to CAB clients and volunteers.

The CAB in Henley and sponsor Orbit Heart of England have been cooperating on housing issues and held a joint clinic on 8 December in the library, with advisors from both organisations on hand to answer residents’ questions. The clinic coincided with a house- to-house survey among Orbit housing tenants in Henley.

If you or your friends need help, call. It’s free and confidential.
