Saturday 7th December is your last chance to visit the Henley Community Library entry in the St Johns Church Christmas Tree Festival. In the fortnight before Advent, a little tree, generously donated by Stephen at Yew Tree Flowers, was on display in the Library reception area, with visitors invited to make a donation to the library in exchange for a tree ornament. You could buy or make one and either hang it on the tree or display it in the library. The tree went to St Johns Church on Henley High Street on 30th November for the duration of the festival to help St Johns raise funds to repair the church organ. It returns to the library on the Sunday 8th December in time for the Henley Christmas Market—watch for our stall! If you’ve given an ornament, you can come to take it home for your own tree then and visit the crib display at the Methodist Church.
