Tommorrow morning, Wednesday 9th October, sees the launch of the first Citizens’ Advice Bureau for the residents of Henley-in-Arden and surrounding communites. The Henley Community Library and the Citizens’ Advice Bureau are bringing the Bureau’s services for anyone who might find getting to Stratford a problem. An outreach worker will be at Henley Library on alternate Wednesday mornings to help with issues such as benefits, jobs, housing, hunger and heating.
Make an appointment by calling Citizens’ Advice at 01789 200 136 between 10 and 4 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, or between 1 and 6 pm on Thursdays. If a trip to Henley is difficult, call the Library office 792 941 to arrange a lift. To protect people’s privacy, on CAB Wednesdays we are open only to CAB clients and volunteers.
If you or your friends need help, call. It’s free and confidential.
