Julie de Bastion discusses “What do we give to our children?”

Join Henley artist, writer and illustrator Julie de Bastion at Henley Community Library on Thursday 12th July from 7pm to discuss “What do we give to our children?” The library, located in the old schoolroom of the Henley Methodist Church, will open from 7 p.m. with refreshments and an informal book-making session led by Julie; the program proper begins at 8 p.m. The discussion aims to promote helpful parenting and Julie shares her insights from two plus decades as the parent of a child with special needs. Copies of a booklet with her reflections will be available for participants to take away if they wish.
The event is free, but donations to Henley Community Library are welcome, as are applications for library membership or volunteering.
